While I briefly checked in on later season two episodes based on recommendations, my initial enthusiasm had significantly diminished. The captivating spark I felt in season one seemed to flicker. However, one element of Glee consistently remained appealing: the music. The show’s song selections and performances, with the notable exception of what felt like an overplayed “Teenage Dream” rendition, continued to be a highlight.
